Retreat Facilities Black Rock Retreat offers comfortable accommodations surrounded by the beauty of God's creation. Lodging options for your group range from private motel style rooms with private baths to dormitory style cabins that have ten bunk beds per cabin. Black Rock Retreat can accommodate over 300 guests at any one time. A typical weekend retreat consists of a two night stay and five delicious buffet style meals prepared by our caring Food Service staff. Also included in your retreat package price is a meeting room reserved exclusively for your group throughout your stay, any audio or visual equipment you might need, and the use of all of the recreational facilities on the grounds. Weekday retreat packages can also be customized to meet your needs.  The staff at Black Rock Retreat is here to make your stay as enjoyable and spiritually enriching as possible. A host or hostess is on duty during your stay to assist your group with any questions or problems you may encounter, allowing you to fully relax and enjoy your retreat. It is our goal as a staff that everything we do in service to our guest groups reflect the love of Christ within us. It is our desire to provide for your group an atmosphere where you can forget the worries and distractions of everyday life and concentrate on your relationship with the Lord.  Nestled in the heart of 100 acres of woods, Black Rock Retreat has many outside recreational opportunities including numerous hiking trails, a large outdoor pool for cooling off on a hot summer afternoon and two large ball fields for group games. Inside, we offer a full size gymnasium suitable for any type of activity and a small game room. Our guests find that a quiet walk in the woods or sharing time with a prayer partner by the edge of the Octorara Creek is often the best recreation.
