Homeschool Outdoor Education Days are an exciting opportunity for students 6 to 17 to explore God’s creation through hands-on, experiential learning in the outdoors.
Each day typically includes:

  • Two Creation Exploration sessions
  • Morning devotion
  • Take-home manual for each student
  • Lots of fun learning about God in the outdoors!

Each day runs from 9:00am to 3:30pm

Outdoor Education Days

Our Spring Outdoor Education Days are being rescheduled for Fall 2020.  Dates and more information will be coming to your inbox this summer.

Each day will include:

Cost

Each day is $22 per student. $10/day non-refundable deposit due at time of registration.

Lunch Information

Lunch for Homeschool Days will be held in either our Pavilion or indoors depending on the weather. Boxed lunches will be available to purchase* for those families not wishing to pack a lunch. For those families wishing to pack a lunch a cooler will be available at check-in to drop your student’s lunch off. Please label your student’s lunch clearly.

*Boxed lunches are $6 each and must be ordered 2 weeks in advance.

Parent Information & Child Safety

While we do not require parents to attend, we understand that you may want to attend the day along with your child.  Any parents wishing to accompany their child during the program must provide Black Rock Retreat with current background checks as required by PA state law.  More information on required background checks can be found at http://www.keepkidssafe.pa.gov/resources/clearances/index.htm.  Please e-mail us with your clearances if you wish to attend.
