Homeschool Outdoor Education Days
Homeschool Outdoor Education Days are an exciting opportunity for students 6 to 17 to explore God’s creation through hands-on, experiential learning in the outdoors.
Each day typically includes:
- Two Creation Exploration sessions
- Morning devotion
- Take-home manual for each student
- Lots of fun learning about God in the outdoors!
Each day runs from 9:000am to 3:30pm

Fall Outdoor Education Days
Our theme days for the Fall are: Go H2O, Under Your Feet, and Animals Around Us. Each day will include:
• 2 Creation Exploration sessions
• Morning devotion
• A take-home manual for each student
• Fun times learning about God in the outdoors!
Children will be divided into groups based on age. Each age group will study different subjects.
Each day is designed for parents to learn alongside their children. While we do not require parents to attend, we must have at least one adult chaperone with every class group of 10-15 students to support our instructors as needed. Please, no younger siblings under age 6 during the program.

Ages 6 – 8: States of Water & Power of Water
Ages 9 – 11: Watersheds & Power of Water
Ages 12 & up: Canoeing Day @ Muddy Run Park
Under Your Feet – October 9th or 10th
Ages 6 – 8: Rocks & Rock Craft
Ages 9 – 11: Rocks & Soil
Ages 12 & up: Soil & Fossils
Animals Around Us – October 30th or 31st
Ages 6 – 8: Mammals & Animal Tracking
Ages 9 – 11: Consumers & Animal Tracking
Ages 12 & up: Frog Dissection & Animal Tracking
Each day is $22 per student. Register online to receive a 10% discount on the 2nd day, 15% on the 3rd day and 20% off the 4th registered day! Discounts only apply to online registrations done in the same transaction.
Lunch for Homeschool Days will be held in either our Pavilion or Dining Hall depending on the weather. Boxed lunches will be available to purchase* for those families not wishing to pack a lunch. For those families wishing to pack a lunch a cooler will be available at check-in to drop your student’s lunch off. Please label your student’s lunch clearly.
*Boxed lunches are $6 each and must be ordered 2 weeks in advance.
The day is designed for parents to learn alongside their children. While we do not require parents to attend, by attending as a chaperone you help us to keep costs low and continue offering great home school programs. This Fall we are offering a limited number of spots for parents to attend as chaperones at no program cost. No program cost parent spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
