Large groups often use our Christian retreat center for marriage conferences, seminars, intensives, and more. We are ready for your group, regardless of size, with meeting spaces, plenty of lodging options, indoor and outdoor activities, and delicious buffet-style food.

We specialize in retreat planning for groups of all sizes, including those with 150+ attendees. Here is a little more about what to expect:
Facilities & Meeting Spaces
We provide your group with meeting spaces depending on your size (up to 350 available in our chapel), activities, and more. With both indoor and outdoor areas available, we will help you select the perfect gathering space for your needs.
At Black Rock, we have been intentional about creating outdoor spaces where small groups of people can sit, relax, and share with one another.
Meals
Bond with your guests and enjoy time together spent around the table. Gather for delicious meals, including:
Breakfast: Eggs, bacon, baked oatmeal, sweet breads, fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, assorted cereals
Lunch: Chicken corn soup, turkey, ham & tuna sandwiches on homemade rolls, tossed salad, fruit bowl, cantaloupe and honeydew, pie
Dinner: Meatloaf, tilapia, macaroni and cheese with shells, vegetable blend, orchard salad, applesauce, dinner rolls, ice cream bar
*If your group has specific dietary needs, please let us know (as far in advance as possible) and we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request!
Lodging
Every group is unique and looks for different accommodation options. With Black Rock, you can find everything you need. Choose from lodging options, including:
All are heated – perfect for winter retreats! They have air conditioning, except for the bunk cabins. There plenty of options to match your group’s size and needs, including some handicap-accessible rooms. You’ll be thankful to not have to make an outdoor trek to get to the bathroom because all rooms have a private bathroom!
Recreation
There are plenty of indoor and outdoor recreation spaces – and they’re included in the price of the retreat!
Staff-Led Activities
Black Rock offers a variety of staff-led activities for your group to enjoy during your retreat. There’s so much stuff to do here as a group! Sample activities include:

Our retreat center in Pennsylvania is conveniently located near Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, New York City, New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware. Only 30 minutes from Interstate 95 and 50 minutes from the PA Turnpike, we’re both secluded and easily accessible.
