Discipleship & Service Crew for Summer Camp
If you are 14-17 years old and are looking for a fun service opportunity centered around spiritual growth, apply for a 1 week session on Black Rock’s Discipleship & Service Crew (DSC)!
Participants in our Discipleship & Service Crew program will help make summer camp possible through service oriented duties and team building, all while under the supervision and mentoring of our DSC Leaders!
Crew Members will also get to:
- Participate in some games and activities during camp
- Have Bible studies with their counselors
- Have time to learn:
- Teamwork
- Servant Leadership
- A little of what goes on behind the scenes at camp
- Work together as a team
DSC members are selected from applicants after completing our online application (apply here) and a short interview. A session will span one week of camp, following our schedule for Overnight Summer Camp.
How to Apply:
DSC campers are selected from applicants after completing our online application and a short interview. This program runs concurrently with our Overnight Summer Camp and space is limited, so don’t delay!
- Log into your registration account (or create one for the first time) and select the session(s) that your camper would like to attend. Look for sessions titled “Discipleship & Service Crew.”
- Complete all necessary forms and update information as needed in your camper’s registration account. Campers should fill out the application form directly.
- Once all form information is completed, our staff will be in touch to schedule a short (5-10 minute) phone interview with the camper. This helps our staff learn a bit more about them, gain insight into why they are interested in participating in the program, prior camp experience(s), etc.
- After the phone interview, our staff will be in touch with next steps. Upon acceptance into the program, the registration fee will be charged to your camper’s account and is required to complete registration. The minimum deposit is non-refundable.

*Dates correspond to our Overnight Summer Camp sessions, DSC will not run during our 2nd-3rd grade session (session 4).

Each session, the Discipleship & Service Crew will host 4 girls and 4 boys.
