A memorable and meaningful summer experience is right around the corner!
"I couldn't have asked more. We truly are blessed to be able to send our child to such an amazing camp. The counselors were awesome. Our son felt very close to them as they had a lot in common. I couldn't thank them enough! When you go pick up your child and his face has a smile ear-to-ear and he says, 'This year was even better than last!' you know as a parent, God is present."Parent of a Summer Camper
The More You Know...
Located on over 100 acres of beautiful woodland in southern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Black Rock has offered a quality Christian co-ed summer camp experience for over 60 years! Our motto and passion is “To Know Christ and Make Him Known!”
Each of our staff and programs are intentionally focused on helping our campers do just that! The program runs from mid-June to mid-August and is available for youth entering into grades 2nd-12th in the fall. Please see the Registration Info page for current dates, times, prices, and to register online.
Black Rock Retreat offers creative alternatives to the influences that young people face in today’s society. Our goal is to integrate a Christ-centered worldview into our entire program. Camp is an ideal setting for our well-trained, caring, quality counselors and staff to be positive role models of the Christian life as they relate closely to each camper.
Our staff are dedicated to helping our campers grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ in many ways, such as: one-on-one time, devotionals, group worship, music & singing, Biblical teaching, cabin discussions, and simply hanging out and talking! They love to serve God and serve our campers!
Campers sleep in dormitory-style cabin facilities, each with its own bathroom. Three hearty, balanced meals are served each day, including two family-style meals served in the air-conditioned dining hall and one outdoor picnic for either lunch or supper. All of our facilities meet or exceed OSHA and PA State inspection standards. All counseling and program staff are trained in CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross.
