Recreational Facilities
Black Rock Retreat provides numerous recreational opportunities for retreat groups to enjoy while they are on our property. We believe that these resources allow people to connect with each other, developing deeper friendships and often breaking down barriers to meaningful conversations and communication with other members in your group.
Gymnasium:
Our full size gym is located in our Maranatha Retreat Center. It can be used for basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard or any other suitable indoor activity. Our gym is able to be reserved by groups between 7:00am and 1:00am.
Pool:
Our pool, open between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend, is fully handicapped accessible with its' zero degree entry. Lifeguards are on duty when the pool is open.
Ballfield:
We have two large adjoining ballfields that are suitable for softball, kickball, soccer, ultimate frisbee or any other large field game.
Fire Circles:
We have three fire circles on our property for use by our retreat groups to have an outdoor fireside experience. These areas are great for group worship, devotions, and making s'mores!
GaGa Courts:
Black Rock Retreat has two GaGa courts. This addictive game for all ages is a mixture of dodgeball and handball. It is hard to stop playing!
Frisbee Golf:
We have a 9 hole Frisbee/Disc Golf course that winds through part of our woods. Fun for all ages!
Sand Volleyball Court:
An outdoor court (near our pool) to enjoy a lively game of volleyball!
