Our 400 ft zipline starts on the top of our 33 ft climbing tower. Riders must first climb our climbing tower to ride the zipline, using climbing staples while being belayed.

Zipline Details
Go ziplining on Black Rock’s 400-ft zipline in Lancaster, PA! It begins at the top of our 33-ft tall tower. Participants climb to the top, and a facilitator will connect them to the zipline cable to begin their ride. Our zipline reaches speeds up to 25 mph for an average-size participant.
Ages: 12 and up
Weight limit: 250 pounds
Cost: $220 per hour or included with our High Ropes Program.
This standalone activity is only available to overnight guests of Black Rock Retreat.

What to Expect at the Zipline
There is a weight limit of 250 lbs for zipline course elements. Participants must fit properly into a harness and have the strength to climb a ladder. Please consult your primary care physician with specific questions about participation. Pregnant women should not participate.
Required attire includes CLOSED-TOE, CLOSED-HEEL SHOES (i.e., sneakers; NO sandals or Crocs), and ALL JEWELRY MUST BE REMOVED. Wear comfortable pants, sweats, or long-styled shorts, and long t-shirts. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather, as this is an outside activity. We also recommend that you bring tick repellent, a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle.
Location
Our retreat center in Pennsylvania is conveniently located near Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, New York City, New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware. Only 30 minutes from Interstate 95 and 50 minutes from the PA Turnpike, we’re both secluded and easily accessible.
