Both our pool and lake are available to reserve for private special events. The pool is open every afternoon for guests that have paid in full and are staying overnight. Guests coming for the day may purchase pool use at a per-person rate.

About Our Pool
Our pool (open between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend), is fully handicap-accessible with its zero-degree entry. The pool is open every afternoon for guests that have paid in full and are staying overnight. Guests coming for the day may purchase pool use at a per-person rate. The pool can also be reserved by groups for a private pool party. Lifeguards are on duty when the pool is open.
Private Pool Parties
What’s Provided: Black Rock will provide your party with lifeguards and tables. A charcoal grill or a fire pit can be made available upon request.
Food/Drink: Bring your own food and beverages to make it a true party (no smoking or alcoholic beverages are allowed). Perfect for birthday parties, youth group day trips, family or class reunions, and more!

Dates/Times: The pool is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend and is available to be rented during the following hours:
Sunday through Saturday: 5-11 pm
Dress Code: We require that women wear MODEST bathing suits (no bare midriff or bikini) and men wear MODEST swimming trunks (no bikini, Speedo-style). Lifeguards will require women to put on a colored t-shirt and men to change if this is not followed.
How To Reserve: Email us or call our Guest Services Department at (717) 529-3232. Advance reservations are required. Please note, we are unable to book the pool for day groups more than 30 days out.
About Our Lake
Nestled in beautiful Pennsylvania woodlands, our gorgeous “Lake of The Woods” is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend and includes a beach-front swimming area. It’s perfect for groups!
Rates: $200 per hour for first hour of one activity.
An additional $150 per hour, per activity, for each extra activity
Additional activities include swimming, the slide, and inflatables.
Days/Times that the lake can be reserved:
Monday-Saturday: 8am-7pm
Sunday: 12 noon-7pm
Only 1 group can reserve the lake at a time.
Private Lake Rentals
Safety: For safety, Black Rock provides 2 lifeguards and participants may only swim in the activity where the lifeguards are on duty.

Our retreat center in Pennsylvania is conveniently located near Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, New York City, New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware. Only 30 minutes from Interstate 95 and 50 minutes from the PA Turnpike, we’re both secluded and easily accessible.
