Traditional Bike Ride

When:

Friday and Saturday, September 6th and 7th, 2024

145 and 125 mile Riders | Register 5:45 AM Depart at 6:30 AM

100, 80, and 50 mile Riders | Register 6:45 Depart at 7:30 AM

BR2RB is a fully supported destination cycling challenge from Black Rock Retreat (BR) to (RB) Rehoboth Bay Area – from the rolling landscape of Lancaster County to the flat waterways of Delaware.  Riders can choose ride distances of 145, 125, 100, 80,or 50 miles.  Riders will be provided with lunch at the destination. Return transportation for riders and bicycles is provided.  Riders registered before July 19th, 2024, who raise $250 dollars or more will receive a complimentary jersey.

How Much Does It Cost?

Riders can pay a $50 deposit when registering and are expected to pay at least the minimum price listed below, based on their ride distance, on or before the date of the ride. We do encourage riders to fundraise above and beyond to help support our ministry.

$250 for the 145, 125, and 100-mile rides  | $150 for the 80, and 50-mile rides. Includes food stops, emergency support, T-shirt, and celebration meal at the end.

Relay to Rehoboth (Team Ride)

You and your team can participate in our annual ride to Rehoboth Bay on September 6th or 7th (choose your day).

Recruit fellow riders (up to 5) to join you on the amazing ride from Black Rock to Rehoboth Bay. The course features 5 food stops and ends at Camp Arrowhead with transportation available back to Black Rock.

  1. Choose a team: Teams consist of 2-5 members.
  2. Choose your Mileage: 50, 80, 100, 125, 145
    1. Food Stops at the following mile markers, when completing the 125 miles challenge:
      1. 25, 47, 65, 93, 112, 125 (end)
  3. Choose who will ride each leg.
  4. Your team will be responsible for transportation throughout the relay, meeting each member at the next food stop where you can exchange riders.
  5. Celebrate at the end! Meet at Camp Arrowhead where Black Rock provides a wonderful meal and celebrates your ride. Encourage your family/friends/team to meet you at the end.

Cost: Relay to Rehoboth

How to Register

Step 1: Choose a ride: Team Relay or Traditional rides(145, 125, 100, 80, and 50)
Step 2: Decide if you want to ride Friday or Saturday  (September 6th or 7th, 2024)
Step 3: Choose your payment option. *One rider/team registration at a time.

Additional Information

  • Bike Jersey deadline: July 19th, 2024
  • Riders who raise $600+ or more are entered into a drawing to win a brand new bike!
  • Guests are welcome to join the riders for the meal at Camp Arrowhead, at a cost of $10 per person.  All meal reservations must be received no later than 8/23/2024.
  • For out-of-town riders, overnight accommodations may be available at Black Rock Retreat.  For information call Black Rock Retreat at (717) 529-3232
  • There will be two buses departing from Camp Arrowhead for those that require return transportation. Typically, the first bus will leave around 3:00pm and the second bus should be leaving at 5:00pm at the latest.
    • If you will not need return transportation please inform our staff prior to the ride.
  • All riders are required to wear a helmet.
