The BR2RB 125 Mile Bike-a-Thon is a one day ride starting from the grounds of Black Rock Retreat in Quarryville, PA and ending at Camp Arrowhead on the shores of Rehoboth Bay, DE! The route travels through some rolling terrain in Southern PA and into Maryland. The route then flatttens out in Delaware and remains that way until the end of the ride. Most of the route in Delaware is a designated bike route, which makes for an enjoyable ride. Riders proceed at their own pace, with the majority of riders finishing within nine hours or less.
This ride is fully supported with five rest stops, fully stocked with food and beverages. A roving bike mechanic is available for small repairs and a qualified first aid person will be available at all times. A sag vechicle will carry a duffle bag for each rider to the finish line and will also be able to pick up riders who encounter problems. Bathhouses with hot showers, a full course dinner meal, and rider and bike transportation back to Black Rock Retreat will be available at the ride destination!
